It is a mechanical equipment that continuously conveys materials by rotating helical blades and belongs to continuous transportation machinery without flexible traction components. Its core structure includes the screw shaft, screw blades, drive device, feed port, discharge port and casing, etc. According to the conveying direction, it can be classified into horizontal type, inclined type and vertical type. According to the type of the screw shaft, it can be divided into shafted screw conveyors and shaftless screw conveyors. The working principle is as follows: When the screw shaft rotates, the material, under the effect of its own weight and the frictional force of the casing, does not rotate with the screw blades but moves axially along the screw surface, thereby achieving conveying.
Applications:The machine is most suitable for transporting all kinds of powder,granular materials, lumpish materials,such as coal,sand,lump coal, cement, cereal,etc. Prishable, viscous, easy caking materials are not available to transport.
